This was drawn from life at a ranch for retired stage cats. I like to use japanese brushpens designed for writing the japanese kanji characters for a lot of my drawing, and sometimes when I'm lucky the drawings wind up having an elegant sort of sumi-e feel to them. This remains one of my favorite drawings.
